How do I know if InnoEngines is the right fit for my company's needs?

We've found that innovation organizations who, on average, collect more than 10 new ideas each month (120 to 1,000 ideas or more each year) get the most value from InnoEngines. These companies generally have more than 500 'legacy' concepts, designs, prototypes and competitive samples, providing the critical mass necessary for teams to realize the value of InnoEngines.
Our customers tend to launch their accounts with a narrow goal (ex. to catalog and organize their prototype library, enabling it to be accessible worldwide). As customers understand the software's capabilities, they find more applications, such as collecting deliverables from design consultants, cataloging competitive products, creating custom innovation catalogs and quick reports. Customers can extend it's utility further with bar-code readers, kiosks and mobile devices.

Why do I have to talk to a representative to get a trial or new account?

InnoEngines asks that customers talk with one of our representative before receiving a Trial or new account. This is a policy we put in place for the security of our customers. By confirming that a new user on the InnoEngines server is a real person from a real company, we significantly reduce the likelihood that a hacker will have a login for our system. We understand that it's an inconvenience, but we hope that you find it understandable that InnoEngines makes the security of your company's data of highest priority.

We Provide Customization

Nothing fits perfectly right out of the box. Processes, descriptions, organizations, and more need to be tailored to your business to make them work most efficiently for you. InnoEngines provides tools that let you modify and customize many aspects of the system yourself. When other changes are required or new features needed, InnoInventory can provide them at our cost.

Connecting to Your Enterprise Systems

Your business is part of an interconnected ecosystem. InnoEngines is the same. The information our tools generate is often even more valuable when integrated with your other technologies. We can provide APIs, system integration and through interfaces to readily connect to your other tools.

Supplier Accounts

Supplier accounts are a great open innovation tool to collect new ideas, innovations and project deliverables from outside companies and individuals. New supplier records can be tracked and managed, enabling you to account for project deliverables and understanding which suppliers deliver the most value. Supplier accounts enable your consultants to upload their new ideas directly, saving you time and effort.
Supplier accounts provide limited access for your outside suppliers and consultants. Users with a supplier account can upload an unlimited number of new records. But all other InnoEngines functions are restricted. Supplier accounts can only view inventory they have uploaded, all other records are hidden from them. They cannot search, view any analytics or add new users. Supplier account logins automatically expire after 30 days.
Supplier accounts can only be generated by account administrators in the Administration tool. A supplier account is created as any other new user account. It is made into a Supplier account by selecting "supplier" from the drop-down list found at the bottom of the form.
Once a supplier account is created the account is listed with all other accounts as a Current User. It's status is indicated with an Access Level of Supplier. Supplier accounts can be edited and deleted by Administrators

Types of Files That Can Be Stored on InnoEngines

InnoEngines works with all mainstream image formats; JPEG, PNG, and PDF . Files are limited to 25meg and 5 minutes to upload. All files are scanned for viruses and malware upon upload as well as during retrieval.

Account Backups:

All accounts are backed up each night. On Friday we create an archive copy of each account and store it on a separate drive. We keep archives for three weeks.
